I like blu-ray movies a lot. With them you get the best picture quality. HD is the way of the future. After watching blu-ray I can’t even watch regular DVDs anymore. I saw Spiderman 2 on blu-ray the other and it couldn’t even compare to when I watch it on regular DVD a couple of years back. And it is not just the picture quality that is better, the sound is incomparable. I really can not say enough good things about these regular discs. I bought a high def TV, and when I view normal TV programming or even DVD movies it seems like a waste of my time. I do not even think it’s a good way to spend my time really. I’d rather read a book then watch crapy TV (and that’s saying a lot). There are HD channels available, so that makes it better, but still I wish everything looked like blu-ray DVDs. A lot of people have been put off blu-ray because they feel it’s too expensive. Yeah sure you pay a little more, but the quality is so worth it. It is not even that expensive really. You can cheap blu-ray movies if you look for them. They really aren’t that expensive. One thing they are though is worth every penny. Even if the cost was $75 each I’d still probably buy them. Quality is what I look for over price. When I look at how far technology has come it really makes me wonder what is yet to come in our lifetime in the realm of television. In reality pouring over all that stuff in your mind is of no value. I will just live in the present. That’s why I don’t know why more people don’t get cheap blu-ray players . I can concede they can cost a pretty penny, but the are worth it for sure. I don’t think I could cope without mine, not to sound insane.

Les began showing signs of musical interest when he took up playing the harmonica at the age of 8. In his teenage years Les started out on the banjo but switched to the guitar as his instrument to master. He certainly succeeded in mastering the guitar and went on to revolutionalize not only guitar design but the face of Rock and Roll. Les and Gibson Unite Les became frustrated with the guitar designs of the 30’s and began working on his own design. In '41 he designed one of the first solid body electric guitars and it was given the nick-name of "The Log". This design was recreated by Gibson in the early 50's when they introduced Les to their new guitar design. He entered into a contract with the Gibson Corporation to play this guitar exclusively which began the era of the Gibson electric guitar. Later this guitar became known as the “ Les Paul ” sold only in the “Goldtop” version at that time and is highly collectible today. Les was under contract with Gibson to be seen only with this guitar for public appearances, and photos. This colaboration was stopped in 1961 by Les when Gibson changed the guitar design without consulting him. A few years later Eric Clapton brought back the original Les Paul guitar and soon thereafter Les and Gibson reunited with Les at the helm of the designs of his guitars. Today, early model Les Pauls are desirable to guitar players and collectors around the world. The guitars were a big hit and, to add to it all, Les created better pickups that guitar makers still use. Les’s Life and Achievements Les played in various venues from his teenage years and beyond. In the late 40's Les Paul was married to singer Mary Ford and they toured the country together. In 1964, Mary decided she could no longer handle all the touring and they divorced. Les has been recognized and rewarded many times over the years and he and Mary Ford were both inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
